New Art Market & Features

It is quite interesting to see that there is far less response to my series of city life photos from Venice compared to my landscape photos. I don't know why but don't think that's due to matters of quality.
I personally had much fun doing them and want to diversify my gallery a little bit.

I recently discovered a new website which dedicates to art selling and exposing.
So called 'WhiteWall' is an art market where you can sell and purchase high quality prints. They work with different methods like acrylic glass mounting, passe partout framing or aluminium art boxes. LUMAS, the world's largest online photography gallery entrusts WhiteWall and overall the response of the press was very positive.

As an art seller you can create your own gallery and put your works on the open art market, after it has passed a jury. You have the choice between releasing open editions or limited editions while the artist's profit varies there.
I personally haven't tested their quality yet. But I really liked the concept, layout, structure, organization and presentation and it seems quite professional in fact. They do a soft-proof before bring your work to the market and they also have downloadable ICC-profiles for their different paper types.
The quality of course has its price but it is not overexpensive.
I'm just building up my gallery and we'll see how it works then.
It's definitely worth a visit!
